Thank you all for those awesome comments yesterday! I can't take all the shirt credit though, I had them printed at www.zazzle.com. I've never been happy with iron on transfers that I've done on light tees. The dark ones are ok, but the light ones leave crummy edges. Zazzle prints your design on whatever you want it to, they did a great job and were really fast. I figured it was worth a little extra money to have them done really well.
So I get my "craftiness" from my mom and now Kate's getting a lot of it from her too. My mom taught Kate how to quill and she made this beautiful card. I love it! My favorite part though is the sun, Kate said it was a Van Gogh sun - oh that girl makes me so proud!

She is really good! My mom did this in the 70's (she went through a lot of craft phases) and its tricky! That is lovely!

ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous Tammy!! Maya just got a quilling set from American Girl. I'll have to show her this page. And, I'm thinking I need to study the shadows - it's not very often that I see a picture of something real on paper like this - normally I just see our best guesses at shadows!! :) I've missed looking at your blog this last week.
